SoundCloud Tips: Sharing to your web presence


SoundCloud is an audio platform aimed towards audio creators helping to share their creations across the web. SoundCloud Tips is a series of informative posts with Symphonic Distribution for some quick tips of how you can make of SoundCloud as a label and for your artists. The first in this series is about how SoundCloud can be your central hub to share your audio content across artist and label’s online presences.
Our Players, Your Site.
May you want a light weight site or want to drive the majority of fans to your site for SoundCloud allows you too easily put your audio at the heart of this. Try embedding one of our players directly into your site. Click ‘Share’ on one of our players and you can grab an embed code. Like this example here from Brilliance.

By aggregating all your social networks, plus pulling your audio in from SoundCloud, you can create a light-weight artist or band website in literally less than 5 minutes. Really, it’s super easy!
Facebook & Twitter
Keeping your online presence close to where your fans are socially connecting to the an artist and label is real important. Have a new release? An easy way to grab fans attention is to embed the tracks direct into your facebook news feed and ask fans to share. Just like how you can embed a youtube video direct into your facebook news feed the same can applies to embedding a SoundCloud player.
